Forsyth County is considering a rezoning request for a hyperscale data center campus directly across from Rural Hall Town Hall.
On , the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Planning Board voted 7-2 to recommend denial of the request. The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners has final authority over the rezoning request and is expected to vote on the case.
This event gives residents an opportunity to hear from specialists, ask questions, and better understand the potential long-term effects of hyperscale data center development on local communities.
